Adelytics · free to start

Run the practice. The record writes itself.

Adelytics is the app coaches, trainers and organizations use courtside — plan the session, log drills and shots while it happens, and finish with numbers you can actually show a parent.

The tour

Eight tabs. That's the whole app.

Adelytics is organised the way a session is. Pick a tab below — it is the same tab bar you get when you sign in.

A Adelytics practice: week 1 of 12, attendance chips, a ball-mastery block open with a 30 second timer and badges beside each player.

Practices

The session plan runs itself

Twelve weeks of practices are already written. Open today's, tick attendance, and work down the blocks — each one timed, each one with the coaching point on screen.

  • Tap a player to award a badge without leaving the drill
  • Swap in a variant when the group is ahead or behind
  • Assessment weeks are flagged before you get to the gym
The Shooting Coach reading a rep: median chips for elbow, knee bend, release height and stance width across 3 shots, phase tabs with Pocket selected, a skeleton overlay marked 93 degree elbow, and a flag reading the L broke down, forearm not upright, with the good range printed beside every number.

Shooting Coach

Point a camera at the shooter. It reads the rep.

Elbow, knee bend, release height and stance on every rep, walked through the shot phase by phase — load, pocket, release, follow-through — with the numbers taken at the frame that produced them. Video is processed on the device and never uploaded.

  • Every number carries its good range, so a flag is arguable rather than a verdict
  • Faults come out in plain words — "the L broke down: forearm not upright"
  • Sessions save to the player's record, so a parent sees a trend, not a memory
A list of earned trophies: drill name, the score, the score it beat, and the date.

Badges

Beating your own number is the point

Every trophy records what the player scored and what they had to beat to get it. A personal best on two-ball pound counts the same as one in a 1v1.

  • Players compete against their own last result, not the best kid in the gym
  • Leaderboards for the group when you want the room loud
  • Nothing here is gated — badges are free forever
Gameday stat tracking: a row of player chips, a grid of stat buttons, and a live box score beneath.

Gameday

A whole box score, one thumb

Tap the player, then the stat. The player stays selected, so a run of plays is one tap each — which is the only way stat-keeping survives a live game.

  • Points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, turnovers and fouls
  • Undo, because you will hit the wrong button
  • Lineup view shows which five are actually outscoring people
The Plays whiteboard: a horns set drawn on a dark court with numbered players, a dribble path and a pass arrow.

Plays

Draw it once, keep it forever

A proper whiteboard — players, cuts, screens, dribble paths and passes. Name the play, save it to the team, and it is there next season.

  • Download any play as a PNG for the group chat
  • Same board on a phone at the scorer's table or a laptop at home
  • Free on every plan
A shot chart with every attempt plotted and zones shaded from well below to well above expectation, with totals underneath.

Shot chart

Where the shots go, and whether they should

Chart attempts by tapping the floor. Zones shade against a baseline, so you can see the difference between a shot a player misses and a shot they should not be taking.

  • Points per shot and three-point splits, calculated as you go
  • Zones stay unshaded until there are enough attempts to mean anything
  • Charting by hand is free. Zone analytics come with Coach
A player's history: a choices and attitude trend line over six graded sessions above their shot chart.

History

What actually changed, per player

Every graded session stacks into one page: decision-making and attitude over time, drill numbers, shooting, badges. This is the page you turn around and show a parent.

  • Free keeps the current twelve-week cycle
  • Coach compares a player across every cycle they have ever run
  • Organization view rolls the same numbers up across all your groups
Drill history for alternating layups: personal best, latest score, win rate and attempts, with a trend line against a target.

Drill history

One drill, every attempt, one line

Pick a drill and see the whole story — personal best, latest, win rate against target, and every attempt underneath with the date it happened.

  • Targets move as the player improves, so the drill keeps being hard
  • Flat lines are the useful ones — they tell you to change the constraint
  • Add your own drills and set your own targets on Coach

Shooting Coach

Point a camera at the shooter. It reads the rep.

Prop a phone on a tripod and shoot. Adelytics reads each rep as it happens — elbow, knee bend, release height, stance — and walks you through the shot in phases: dip, pocket, release, follow-through, with the numbers taken at the frame that produced them.

Every rep is compared against the player's best one of the session, drawn body-over-body so a coach can see exactly which joint moved. Calibrate the court once and each shot lands on the chart at the spot it was taken from, judged against the three-point line that player actually shoots on — high school, college or pro.

Video is processed on the device and never uploaded. Form sessions save to the player's record, so what a parent sees in three months is a trend, not a memory. It is a second opinion, not a substitute for watching the rep — and it says so on the screen.

Three sessions are free to try. Keeping it is $5.99 a month on the Player plan — no coach or club required — and it comes with every paid tier above that.

Organization view

Zoom out to the whole organization

Sessions delivered per group. Where the organization shoots from. Drill standards across everyone you coach, with the group average and the best in the building. Most improved, ranked by each player's own gain rather than raw score.

There is a session audit too — did the coach explain before demonstrating, did every teaching point get competed at, did every player get a turn. It is the part directors ask for and nobody enjoys writing down.

Who it is for

Any coach — or any player — anywhere

Adelytics was built for our own gym and then opened up. Coaches run whole organizations on it; a parent can run one jump shot. You do not need to train with us, live near us, or ask anyone's permission to use it.

We also coach

Digital Adel Hoops runs skills training for ages 6 to 18 in Pittsburgh and Florida. Adelytics is the app we built to run it.

FIRST

Show it

Demonstrated at full speed, then slowed. One rep beats a paragraph.

THEN

Teach it

Reps with correction, one thing at a time, everyone with a ball.

FINALLY

Compete at it

Live, scored, with a consequence. No teaching point leaves the gym untested.

Attributes and circumstances decide how many opportunities a player gets. Choices and attitude decide what they do with them. We handle the first. We teach the other two, and we measure both — which is exactly why the app exists.

Groups run from Little Ballers at 6 to High School Performance at 18, plus semi-private work, camps and skills contracts for school and club organizations. New players start with a free assessment and leave with their numbers either way.
